The basket filter is used on oil or other liquid pipelines to filter debris in the pipeline, and the area of the filter hole is 2-3 times larger than the area of the orifice pipe. It far exceeds the filtering area of Y-type and T-type filters. The structure of the filter screen is different from other filter screens. Because it is shaped like a basket, it is called a basket filter.
The basket filter is mainly composed of a nozzle, a cylinder, a filter basket, a flange, a flange cover and fasteners. It can be installed on the pipeline to remove large solid impurities in the fluid, so that the machinery and equipment (including compressors, pumps, etc.) and instruments can work and operate normally, to stabilize the process and ensure safe production.
The basket filter is a small device that removes a small amount of solid particles in the liquid, which can protect the normal operation of compressors, pumps, instruments and others. The filtrate of the filter is discharged from the outlet of the filter. When cleaning is required, just take out the detachable filter bucket and reload it after processing. Therefore, it is extremely convenient to use and maintain. It has been widely used in petroleum, chemical, pharmaceutical, food, environmental protection and other industries. If they are installed in series at the inlet of the pump or other parts of the system pipeline, it can not only prolong the service life of the pump and other equipment, but also ensure the safety of the entire system.
When the pipeline is installed, other debris will be brought into the pipeline, and the raw materials also contain debris during production. When the liquid in the pipeline passes through the filter, its dirt is collected by the filter into the filter screen, and the cover can be opened to clean the filter screen to a certain extent.
